I’ve noticed people pick abstract goals like “zk is the future”. Even within ZK there’s those who say “STARKs is the one true zk”.

A paper came out on circle starks where the mob declared it as a huge advancement, but if you read the paper they got like a 1.3x speedup.

Wouldn’t be possible if zk had adoption and we could see a chart of rankings.
