Does the FC onboarding still require paying before you can browse?

One way you can allow people to try before they purchase is to have a bunch of tester accounts, and let new users use them for a few days. After which the account is cleaned and made ready for the next person.

Currently yes. But we’re also not targeting non crypto people right now.
