can someone explain to me the front end habit of asking users to "switch network" with a prompt and an additional click? just auto switch. the answer is never "no i do not want to switch because i want to stay on the wrong network".

This! So annoying! Iām am moving away from Metamask and this is one of the big reasons. Coinbase wallet seems to give this option too, but no visible change in the app when you confirm. Which is a small step in the right direction.
