Does an app have the ability to switch the network for you if you’re using MetaMask? I thought the user needed to agree to that in their wallet.

This! So annoying! I’m am moving away from Metamask and this is one of the big reasons.

Coinbase wallet seems to give this option too, but no visible change in the app when you confirm. Which is a small step in the right direction.

It's a safety thing in case an application switches networks for you in a way you don't intend

if youve got a tx pending i think it cancels em when you switch? so you may not always want to if you forget. but 99.9% of time i agree. also mightve made that up?

Or at least add a "don't ask this question again" check box

I'm no dev, but I can get behind manually switching the network. It raises security "awareness" which is good, right?
