But I didn’t post the cover because of any particular merit it has but to highlight that a ‘less designed’ cover is also less ugly (and easier to accept/stomach, for me at least). 
I’m put off by badly designed books, even if the content is good, unfortunately.

Yeah the Wolfram has a horrible jacket design considering the images inside.

I have that other book you posted too. It has the finish inside - typographically - of a hand-done dissertation which adds to its glory. Some really intriguing images in this one...
