To date one of my favorite Warpcast updates has been the addition of channels :)

When I onboarded (pre-channels) I enjoyed using Warpcast but I felt some uncertainty when casting about my garden, cooking, and journaling.

Now, with so many channels, it’s amazing to see how many topics people are discussing (art, fitness, travel, books, agriculture, and more). I feel so much more comfortable sharing about cooking and other non-technical topics 💜

Channels made casting a lot easier and fun tbh
Also gave people a wide variety of content to see everyday, there’s basically a channel for almost everything on here

I stand by this strongly too. Somehow you get more of 3d perspective of someone vs highly polished profiles on other social. 
I’ve never seen so many food photos outside of insta influencers as an example

yeah i think it's the one feature that makes all the difference over other apps and *ehm ehm* the home feed :D

so true, i feel i get the opportunity to meet and learn from ppl on all walks of life

Channels have really done a lot of good
It fosters bonding with different people, allows you to share and try out what you’ve not tried before

It’s weird but there’s a channel for almost everything

The biggest risk is not taking one 📈

rgs are full of supportive ppl, same w a lot of other channels

have often been surprised when i wanna cast about something and there is already a channel for it

and example is the butter cow i casted the other week into /butter 😂

Most people don’t know I used to be a Travel Ambassador for a credit card co. The role combined 3 of my biggest passions: Photography, traveling & working the cc points system. 

I wasn’t paid to travel, but b/c I was earning the majority of my flights, hotels, and transpo via reward points, they hired me to document my journeys around the world. 

I’ve been to 49 countries, gravitating to outdoor adventures & nature. I’m a hiker, biker, skier, climber, and surfer.

/adventure is a home for adrenaline junkies & nature lovers.

I’ve been bad about promoting it, but that ends today.

I’ll be sharing pics + stories of places I’ve been fortunate to visit. Hopefully others will post theirs too so I can add some new spots to my bucket list. 

Will also mix in travel tips + gear + cc hacks + other fun stuff.

I definitely feel the same! Channels are such a smart way to focus content and also to encourage people to open up about things they are passionate about. One of my favorite features as well and part of the reason this is my favorite social media app ever.

Real, channels make it easier to categorize your casts. What are you fav channels?

If anything, channels provided varieties of contents, and helped people focus on contents they found interesting instead of being all over the place

I always try to cast in a channel relatable, i search for names of channel even when I'm not in it just to cast there😹

We can share our daily activities/though via different channel.

It all depends on the person, where they want to go and what they are interested in, everything is here.
FC provides what other platforms don't, that's the beauty of FC

Thank you for sharing @eriks :) I agree, I feel like channels help me share whatever is top of mind without needing to narrow my focus to a niche. I really appreciate the opportunity to see the people I follow as multi-faceted
