Thank youu goddess for always replying and I’m glad you always finish top 3 ie an exception to the “if you reply smaller accounts it’ll affect your ranking” rule

Pretty sure the leaderboard for rewards only takes into account engagement for the top 100 of your root casts within that time frame + some algo magic to make sure people aren’t gaming the system with the same exact accounts liking all their posts @v can you confirm? whispers spreading that interacting with small accounts punishes you

Not trying to sound like I’m complaining, but it genuinely doesn’t always feel like the system rewards broader engagement. You can often predict who’ll show up in the top 30, and some accounts stay there even without casting for days. It seems like engagement between higher-weight accounts plays a big role in maintaining their spots. Of course, there are exceptions but if we’re being honest, it does seem like replies(engagement on original casts) tend to stay within familiar circles, which makes it harder for smaller accounts to break through. A simple experiment would show this easily.
