this is what i'm afraid of. i was born and raised in long beach, and i've just seen the fires getting worse and worse. spent so much time in big bear as a kid ):

my fam has been texting about the insane heat wave and now how it's suddenly 60. freaking dangerous shift in weather with these fires...

They are evacuating most of Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead now. 

The scary thing is, one year, they arent going to be able to stop it. The Santa Ana winds are a case study in firefighting school. Its highly possible that with the right Santa Ana winds one year that the fires will burn through the city to the ocean. Its a crazy situation.

So sad for the bridge fire. Those mountains have amazing rivers and ski resorts. Hopefully doesn’t get all the way to big bear :(
