regular people just want to know apps work. and by all accounts, threads not only works. it works well. regardless of where they borrowed? stole? their ideas from. they went for LCD. will move their IG audience there. and then iterate. it's here to stay.

My hunch is it will stick with the younger half of Gen z crowd, who may have missed the twitter train.

i'm seeing a lot of artists (of the Gen X variety) who reluctantly used twitter now using threads. π€·π»ββοΈ

I see it too π Iβm cheering for them. A βfreshβ alternative is appealing, and it is fun/nostalgic to start a new social. Cross posting to all platforms makes sense strategically. You have a point! Some of them Iβd like to personally invite here when the time is right.
