as an American, i see this as a cultural issue with no simple fix. it ties into a public school system that undervalues arts, humanities, and critical thinking, alongside an economic system that forces parents to work multiple jobs instead of raising their children. both factors are crucial because they nurture emotional intelligence and critical thinking, helping individuals be less susceptible to manipulation make better decisions later in life. remedy that, remedy more user errors.

i had an art teacher in high school that taught me the value of interdisciplinary thinking and the relationship art had with other subjects like math, science, and english. it is a foundational learning that continues to impact my life today. i experienced first hand the power of art, problem finding questions, and critical thinking can have. it's why this is important to me.

we need more polymaths in the world. they're the ones who can see connections others can't. i like to believe that i have a renaissance soul.
