i had an art teacher in high school that taught me the value of interdisciplinary thinking and the relationship art had with other subjects like math, science, and english. it is a foundational learning that continues to impact my life today. i experienced first hand the power of art, problem finding questions, and critical thinking can have. it's why this is important to me.

glad to hear you've had this experience in your formative years!! i'm fortunate to have had a similar foundation in my education. im mildly obsessed with the concept of "renaissance man" and as our society continues to move deeper into (mis)information overload, i believe these ideals are only becoming more and more important
