How to find a fit as a non-engineer swiss army knife type of generally knowledgable, friendly, helpful person? My background is academia and research and my recent experience in the job/fundraising market is that things look promising and then collapse as soon as I get close.

I’m horribly demoralized. I work for $19/hr on a golf course with my Master’s degree and 7 books and patents while the world passes me by. I am ill and will miss pay and have medical bills I can’t afford, and I can’t even seem to get interviews anywhere. Far as I can tell it is the end of the world.

You sound really depressed, try reaching out to a local planned parenthood or LGBTQ+ center for free drop in therapy. You don’t have to be a woman or queer. Those services are for everyone!

I don’t need therapy, I got pulled in by crypto during the bull and crushed by the Luna collapse and now I can’t seem to effectively interact with my economy anymore. I need a way to make money enough to sustain myself.
