What was your first experience that made you realize, if you’ve ever realized it, that a lot of blockchain/web3/crypto was a scam?

I know crypto is good and will be used for mostly good, but for me it was when my “boss” rugpulled us and ran off with our paychecks and threatened to sue everyone who worked with us afterwards. Jon Libby will get his karma though.
