When I met a number of entrepreneurs who were hastily trying to catch the ICO wave in 2018. (Same story has repeated for people trying to catch whatever other trend — DeFi, DAOs, NFTs — late in those waves. Hard to watch.)

I know crypto is good and will be used for mostly good, but for me it was when my “boss” rugpulled us and ran off with our paychecks and threatened to sue everyone who worked with us afterwards. Jon Libby will get his karma though.
