If you went to Art Blocks Marfa this year, what were your takeaways? tagging a few folks I know were there: @mikey @robin @phil @duaneking

Marfa seems to be the place to discover emerging talent. Many artists break out on Art Blocks and go on to become commercially successful, so there’s a lot of value in being the place to find the Next Big Person.

My family is from West Texas so it was a strange homecoming of sorts. As Judd was acutely aware of, the minimalism of the desert focuses the senses. You become more aware. Noticing is intensified. Marfa connects geologic time with art history and art on the blockchain. Magic.

Far to get to, but that’s part of the experience of Marfa and it’s artistic beauty. The event is great for finding time for focused convos with artists, builders and collectors in the gen-art space. Def would recommend!
