Predictions for “the next cycle”?

Lots of unexpected things happened this past cycle, just as many that were predictable

cycle-centric thinking is quite un-helpful IMO

The next cycle will be dominated by new platforms that let builders harness the value props of crypto:
- authenticity
- censorship resistance
- privacy

The next cycle will not be dominated by products that expose crypto underpinnings — wallet/tx-free decentralized apps will win.

I think the dominance of Uniswap will be on full display next cycle. It’s already so enormous right now, but hardly gets the headlines of Coinbase/Binance. https://i.imgur.com/WbK9VMD.jpg

I could see public utilities powered by crypto and becoming DAOs. Like Helium and WeatherXM. But I'm sure reality will be much more interesting than our predictions.
