Why, what's worse in web3 with regards to creator monetization than in web2?

Yes, I'm curious to hear your perspective because I think some (limited number) of web3 creators are better off than their web2 counterparts: Avg SuperRare artwork price is $3k Open edition mints have made decent money for some creators Sound pays long tail of artist more than they earn on Spotify in royalties

Living income prob varies by type of creator. (Musicians have greater costs to production than digital art). Most mints aren't recurring rev, but web2 creators who sell artwork (physical or digital) don't have recurring rev. Music NFTs are additional to Spotify monetization so its additive.
