Probably the last world cup of a lot of footballers I started following in my youth - Ronaldo, Messi, Modric. Hope Argentina wins it for Messi. Also intriguing how heat will have an impact.

The big (football) story is Messi and Argentina. He has a formidable squad behind him for the first time and it’s likely his last World Cup. Separately: the FIFA doc on Netflix plays like fiction. Absolutely wild and a must-watch, even if you’re not a big football fan.
