my average experience with spotify algorithmic playlists 

in the past i’ve had discover weekly playlists that came preloaded with 50% songs i had previously already marked as disliked

liking “actually good” Music That Sucks for sure throws off the algo

If I told you the disliking songs doesn’t actually affect your recommendations but is a just a skip button, would that hurt?

It's like they don't weight negatives at all in their algorithm

the suggestions used to be way better, its almost as if they accidentally nerfed their algo.
