As an AI artist, I often feel like I’m an imposter. I had an early run in with someone who was kind to me until they found out that I used AI tools and told me I wasn’t a real artist and I was stealing visibility from others with talent. A good friend in the space convinced me to keep putting myself out there because art is art. The tools and techniques don’t matter. Your creations will stand on their own or they will not. Let the market decide. I’m glad I took his advice and pushed forward. I create for myself and as long as I’m happy with my work and effort, I can keep going, even if some days I want to scream.

I love this scream 😱 Ofcourse you are an artist! AI doesn’t generate art on it’s own, it needs your input/ideas to be able to generate something. And it can be quite difficult to get the results you are looking for. I’m glad you continued making art and I’m looking forward to see more. And maybe some resin art as well?

I’ve had some tips/trics of my friend who works a lot with uv resin. But she made me doubt if I should start with it.

I did it in class and it was so easy. Think I need a more powerful light but I was traveling light and needed a tiny one ;)

It’s great that you were able to take a class. I don’t think we have a class here. And nice that you took it with you during traveling. The tips I got are quite a lot and it kinda backs me off te het started. My friend said that I need to buy good quality resin with an UV stabilizer and don’t make anything when it’s 20 degrees celcius or higher because it has a negative effect on the resin. When the humidity changes it can also have a negative effect of the harding of the resin. And also the mall, pigments, dried flowers, etc. can all affect the outcome negatively. It took her two years to fully master it all.
