That’s a good example. I’d argue those communities eventually fell flat bc their lifestyle paired in comparison to the financial upside. Perplexity is doing it right in AI, think more onchain co’s could follow their playbook.

Have you come across any brands that have attempted to incorporate both?

Financial incentives are good, but not enough by themselves. One of the big reasons we haven’t seen a breakout consumer hit.

i do not buy nike shoes for a lifestyle or other fantasy reasons. i but them because the product is great and they fit well.

However, in crypto, if there's not an incentive to gain money, then people won't spend their time here.
