Interesting proposal, I would add the ability to utilize a dns name or ens as your channel name. Since I own NeuraName.com I could create FCID #xyz and then do a verification from dns records to use that as my channel name. Same with ENS.

It works that way for ENS. I threw in the DNS because then an organization could make a decision to have an identity by using ENS and a channel by using their domain. Not 100% sure it makes sense

Absolutely, great idea. That's how it works with username / FIDs today if I am not mistaken. So it would make sense to do the same with channel names / FCIDs 👍
