“What are you doing to help small accounts on Farcaster?” We have a lot more work to do, but here’s what we’ve done in the last few months to improve: 1. Moved initial feeds away from a follow-based model to algorithmic and interest-based model 2. A daily set of boosted accounts with <10K followers 3. USDC rewards normalized by followers 4. A bunch of experiments and tweaks to improve the home feed to show interesting casts from people you don’t follow yet More to come!

Growing a small account is not easy anywhere. Period. I’d argue it’s easier to grow on Farcaster than on X or IG or any other platform. Keep showing up and be active.

Imagine all those who don’t have PB. Honestly, it should disappear forever from anywhere on Farcaster, not just on Warpcast.

I understand the common complaint from many of our peers that without PB they feel invisible here I know I wouldn't have grown my account like this without it That said, I do think many of our peers need to evolve from a mindset of broadcasting their art (social media) to more genuine value-added engagement on the platform (social networking) The things I learned from our peers when I first joined the space on X like posting my art in group chats to try to amplify one another, responding to shill threads, etc, didn't seem to work for me there and don't seem to work here, either While I'm not selling art through my presence here (only an extremely lucky few prominent artists seem to be selling art anywhere), at least I don't feel invisible this way I hope you see what I mean

To me, it's a short-term vs long-term mindset I've tried to pivot away from the short-term mindset of doing whatever I can to get the next sale of my art, and focus instead on trying to build meaningful relationships with people who I find interesting Seeking out people with shared interests and broader experiences than I have has been rewarding simply for not feeling alone in the space That said, it's also helped to evolve my thinking about what I am doing here, why I am doing it, and how I want to benefit from my presence in the space in the future And that feels priceless

On this, I absolutely agree with you. The main reason I’m still here is because of the connections I've made with people I don’t want to lose touch with. These are the people who make me feel like I belong and, as you said, who make me feel less alone. Without them, this platform would feel pretty empty. If it weren’t for those connections and the sense of community they bring, I probably would have left Farcaster a long time ago. It’s really the relationships that keep me here, not the platform itself.
