If I purchased an fID, I assume I'm purchasing the entire account - as in, I can't just swap out my current account's fID for the new one?

fname is another upsetting one. Realised post-registration I couldn't swap mine to something else, so now I've gotta ENS my way forward.

Yes correct you purchase a FID you get all the data of that account

Unfortunately there isn’t a way to “swap” your data from one FID to another but it should be a simple script to copy your casts over to the new FID, but it won’t keep your followers afaik

I believe with Warpcaster that is the case.

With flink and possibly other clients, they let you change username. But note your posts/storage stay with that original FID, AFAIK.
