In case you were wondering, we jumped straight to Christmas in most places. Stores skipped the rest of autumn and most hotel displays are now FIRMLY Christmas themed. Proof.

Japan is moving fast in the commercial market. As soon as Halloween is over, this is what we get. New Year's, Setsubun, Girls' Festival, Cherry Blossoms, New School Entrance, New working adults, Koi Noboris. It changes quickly from one to another. ๐ฅ

Yes! We do this in the U.S. too but w have Thanksgiving in between so we get a little more autumn vibes for a while. But many many places start Christmas as soon as Halllween is over. Including Disney! If you time it right you can enjoy their Halloween setup and then itโs Christmas the next morning!
