I think FC is the same? If I've got it right (I may be wrong) the casts don't go to a blockchain, they just get dated with whatever date the signer wants to date them with then gossiped around the hubs.

I've been to a few funerals in Japan and the customs and rituals vary wildly depending on region but the one thing they have in common is that the guy at the crematorium is really into explaining all the sciencey shit about the cremated ashes like "check out this blue colour, this is from the chemo"

Love how when you go to a cremation in Japan and you do the thing where you put the bones in a little box with chopsticks they have a great big fuck-off magnet they use to pick out any staples and threads and sundry bits of metal that may have been inside the deceased from various medical procedures
