The lesson here which is relevant to Warpcast/FC is that it's all very well having a robust, decentralized protocol, but if everyone is using the same client then it won't give you much in practice. FC is worse here because not only is there a single overwhelmingly dominant client, it's literally fucking CLOSED SOURCE

I think with the rebrand of Warpcast back to Farcaster, they're going to open source the client quite soon...of course, it's a fair point until it actually happens.
