ASUS has unveiled the Ascent GX10, the company’s own version of Nvidia’s Digits project, which uses the GB10 Grace Blackwell superchip and delivers up to 1,000 trillion operations per second (TOPS) of AI performance.
Like Digits, the Ascent GX10 is a minicomputer that fits easily on your desk. Just connect a keyboard, mouse, and display to it and you have a powerful AI supercomputer.
At the heart of the Ascent GX10 is the GB10 superchip, which is a combination of Nvidia’s Grace processor and Blackwell GPU. The GB10 is a scaled-down version of the Grace Blackwell superchip.
The Grace processor uses a 20-core Arm design, consisting of 10 Cortex-X925 cores and 10 Cortex-A725 cores. The processor connects to NVIDIA's latest Blackwell GPU via a high-speed NVLink-C2C connector. In total, the GB10 can deliver up to one petaflop (1,000 teraflops) of FP4 performance. 0 reply
