Farcaster

I have a pretty high tolerance for edgy humor as well as controversy and confrontation but Twitter/X has become an absolute cesspool since Elon Musk took over. The platform is almost like another Stormfront at this point and is full of racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, sexism, homophobia and all manner of insipid and hateful commentary masquerading as wisdom. For all the faults that Twitter had before it has become magnitudes more unpleasant and chaotic.

Part of my attraction for Farcaster is the idea of finding a “frontier” where new community can be built on a more solid basis and the mistakes of the past can be avoided.
