We're working on improving mini app UX 1. Team has significantly revamped the docs at miniapps.farcaster.xyz. @linda has also been putting out some developer-oriented content. 2. We'd like to solve the "Open your Warpcast mobile app" mini app friction on web. We're working on bringing wallet to Warpcast web and authorized addresses (see FIP below). Once both have shipped, we should be able to make it as smooth as mobile. 3. We're working on gasless swaps and sends. This should help solve for "insufficient ETH". (For developers: later this year, 7702 should allow us to implement gas paymasters.) https://github.com/farcasterxyz/protocol/discussions/225

also not that I even use it much but I agree with the other comment that stories is one of the better and more authentic/friend-focused features left on instagram there’s something that I like about it being more ephemeral and in the moment

big +1 to the fact that it feels less like a platform you want to regularly post on/use all the time and more like this curated profile of people/things curation certainly has its own place in apps but the main thing you should be wanting to drive users towards(espc on a social platform) is posting

ah, yeah I assume on the video front that it’s pretty hard to natively render it (a lot harder to work with X data these days overall as well)

I think they render X embeds differently on mobile and web because if you view the cast on web it should show an embed with the video etc maybe just two different rendering libraries/strategies? not 100% sure just guessing
