We're working on improving onboarding 1. Investigating how to make sign ups cheaper at the protocol level. Free is not possible because of spam. But we think there's a path to getting sign ups <$1. 2. Simplifying the Warpcast sign up process—fewer steps and the possibility for free sign ups if you verify your account (Warpcast still pays at the protocol level). 3. Improving the initial feed — a combination of better UX for finding people to follow and incorporating interests selected during sign up. 4. Once we've tackled all of the above, we will revisit invite UX which is suboptimal right now.

Finally onboarded my wife today. Watched the flow. Seemed quite easy using a link to app that I shared + access code. Only feedback was when she was directed to follow 5 people the distinction between users and channels was unclear so she was adding both not realizing who were people.

If you dont wrap this into CAC and subsidize whatever cost this ends up being, imo, this will never scale. This needs to be a CAC metric. Normies will NEVER pay to onboard at scale, even if its 1 penny

Please consider my suggestion: if the listing price is reduced, the cost to create a channel should also be adjusted accordingly. I recommend lowering the channel creation fee from $25 USDC to $15 USDC or even $10 USDC.

One of the obvious advantages is that there will be a lot more users! And the big disadvantage is that there will be a lot of bots! Unfortunately, most people still don't understand what the advantage of Warpcast is!
