(To be clear, adding permissionless channel creation, channel follows, who is the moderator to the protocol are already on the list. This is about features we need to add / add back before we decentralize the primitive.)

Please add the ability to ban words or phrases. For example, my /fomo channel is overrun with casts about $fomo (which is not related to my channel) and being able to ban that would instantly improve the feed.

No disagreements from me! I can accomplish 1 and 2 with mod actions, but native was much more pleasant to use. I have never personally needed #3 but seems useful. #5 would be cool if it doesn't cause too many conflicts. for example, to use @automod or @notabot for most stuff but also leverage the @botornot filter functionality. Additional: -If you re-add pinning multiple casts, users should have ability to dismiss a pinned cast so they don't need to scroll by every time they're in the channel -Give somewhere to display co-hosts -Add section to show top streaks in the channel -Community moderation (although I can see this being a disaster). Example, five downvotes from anyone would hide a cast, just not from pre-approved mods. This is easy to game though, so prob bad in practice.

I'd rather have a temporary mute than the ability to hide it permanently. I think Multiple pinned casts are unnecessary now that we can post longer casts.

Agree with those top 6. One other possibility is a "boost" --> this is different than a pinned-cast (which is effectively permanent unless undone). A "boost" would shift a good cast from "recent" to "main", but still be ephemeral to the algorithm

Since a lot of poeple are adopting hypersub as a moderation tool, I would really like to see “status” (discord) or a “subscriber badge” (twitch) I think it’s cool, and it’ll definitely help me having things more under control
