Looking for brutally honest feedback: if you're on Farcaster but not actively casting, why not? Either reply here or send me a DM on any platform you're most comfortable with. Don't have to be nice, just honest. And any boost of this tweet is appreciated! https://twitter.com/dwr/status/1684364783787851776

Because casting to 0 followers just reminds me that I actually have no friends

My challenge is that I often don’t find enough casts that I want to reply to (or that feel relevant to me.) And low engagement when I do cast on topics or news that I would love to discuss further. But again, my following is tiny.

Thanks! yeah I was being somewhat sarcastic. I will try to get a more sincere answer to your question later. But it mainly boils down to a function of time vs roi, for all social media platforms that I engage with.

This is key in sustaining network retention; folks here are already default-follow and keen to build their network, but it’s not intuitive what to do bc the primary action is “cast” not “reply to casts”. Maybe it’s a N/UX problem.
