Yes but original MS is a solid Western. Kurosawa in a league of his own.

Kind of unfair to compare Magnificent Seven and Seven Samurai, the latter is a literal masterpiece.

And Magnificent Seven ain’t bad anyway!  Yul Brenner, Steve McQueen, and Charles Bronson…I mean it’s more camp but it makes it fun.
