The meta right now seems to be "the right way to build". There is no right way to build a company, other than: 1. Build something people want 2. Charge (someone) money for it 3. Don't break the law The last two are easy, the first one is hard.

Most successful web 2 startups broke law - Uber (taxi regulations) - AirBnb (hotel regulations) - Facebook (privacy regulations) - Binance (sanctions) - Coinbase (SEC) - Alibaba (founder crushed by CCP)

I mean, most successful companies did not, but if you want to get pedantic: Uber and Airbnb were dealing with local ordinances, not federal law. Facebook and Coinbase did not commit felonies. Binance and Alibaba are not US based companies.
