users will complain about posting content on a platform that gets engagement primarily from "bots", yet will brag about how many mints their NFT got in a campaign minted primarily by "bots"

so bots are good if giving $$, but bad if giving replies??

money is money, likes are status. bots don't have status.

If it was just about the money they wouldn’t brag. If you brag about mints, you’re status signaling

there is status is having something that sells well? not the same as social status, but still status

Yeah,  commercial success is worthy of status, but the point here is about when someone brags about their own success its cringe if a) it came from bot activity, and b) they otherwise complain about bots
