One misconception I see about spam labeling: "I'm a real human. I'm not a bot." Claiming "I'm not a bot" doesn't change the quality of your content. If you're farming replies and not being thoughtful, that's spam. And saying "Oh, I was just hoping to make some money, I'll do better in the future" doesn't work. Because every spammer will say the same thing. It's not hard to not be spammy. Just cast a little less, be a little more thoughtful.

Coming from a SM world where shadow bans are common for reasons that are unclear to end users it’s reasonable for us to be concerned.

Your followers still see your content, you just lose access to discovery on Warpcast. Is that valuable, yes. But there's no other way to solve.

This is good to hear. Sorting spam from legitimate content is a platform problem. It seems weird to be repeatedly telling users their content looks like spam rather than addressing what is actual spam.

Note the intentional use of a single emoji reply by a human end user. Real users do spammy things (and that content isn’t necessarily spam)

Right, but 1) I follow you, 2) we have a lot of shared history -- context matters

Does context mean the pictures aren’t identical then?
