It is a reflection of dwr’s contempt for artists and their opinions of his protocol and client. Why do you think dwr used AI generated images for all the commemorative Warpcast or token artworks? Revealed preference: art isn’t important enough to hire a human to make something cool for our culture here

I feel like that is a personal resentment. It’s not borne out in the product, where I have seen over time how Warpcast has become much friendlier to visual image display and also supported pretty effortless one click minting. If Dan hated artists he would design a product that diminished the work and made it harder to get paid? A silly commemorative nft has no bearing

a silly commemorative artwork lackadaisically shit out reveals a lack of concern or taste for art as well as a lack of concern over what feelings this will invoke in all the artists who use and stan the protocol daily

But it’s not creative(that’s the point) that’s where the offense happens And responding to people who have deep considerations of this space with snark makes these people recoil, Dan, it makes your DAU lower, this place isn’t X, being a snarky asshole doesn’t fly the same way I know because I like to be a snarky asshole too
