For the newer people on Farcaster: These types of replies aren't useful. Better to use a like than a reply. I get that 1) people are excited / trying to be friendly and 2) not everyone's first language is English. However, low effort replies will eventually start to hurt your account's visibility on Farcaster.

Why do you keep engaging like this? I'm assuming that people have good intentions and are open to constructive feedback, especially given that post-permissionless everyone has to pay to use Farcaster. Want to give everyone a chance.

Or they’re using replies to save storage for likes 😜

You get fewer likes that replies. :) Ultimately, most people want more weight for reply notifications than likes (which can be aggregated). Getting a heavier weight reply that's low effort is a paper cut. Too many of them you want to turn off notifications. So, will force us to hide those replies, which is worse.

No I totally understand / agree with hiding Just poking fun at storage limits (I think most people run out of likes before replies)
