Per capita consumption of beer in the US is ~23 gal, which comports with a ~4% (1/23) alcoholic content suggested above. 

Latest I have seen is NA beer is ~5% of alcoholic beer consumption in the US.

hell yeah same.

after 15 years of not drinking (and a former problem drinker, hence the quitting) I genuinely appreciate a good NA beer and they've gotten so good lately compared to the slim pickings a decade plus ago
