What are your top near-term requests for improving programmatic direct casts? Common requests: 1. Read APIs 2. Higher rate limits 3. ...? What else? (Assume full interoperability / decentralization is on the roadmap, but for later this year.)

Definitely 2 over 1. More limits but with caveats. Quota should be based on the number of followers. Aim should be to have an ability for creators to reach out to their audience on a weekly basis.

u are aware its like totally fucked up right now right? barely usable. goes blank over and over and you get thrown back to messages from like days ago super weirdly; its pretty fukd up just functionally rn. i would probably suggest prioritizing that firstly??? 🤷‍♂️

There are a few problems on group chat DMs ,To prioritized. There is no scroll button to latest message (have to scroll all messages manually , its impossible if a few days left unread) , Slow loading (or sometimes not working) while scrolling.

Both read API and higher rate limit. In addition, I hope to: 1. remove the limit, if the conversation is initiated by users. For example, a user sends a DC to the bot and the bot replies to the user. 2. limit the number of DCs per day that a bot could send to a user, if the conversation is initiated by the bot. This should help to decrease the spam DCs.
