@dwr.eth what’s your take on the idea that farcaster has stolen the voices of Ethereum away from the public square that is X/twitter, which in turn has caused public sentiment to decline.

If that were the case we’d have more users. The only thing that matters are useful and interesting apps. Everything else is downstream.

Not sure I get what you mean by more users on here. It’s clear some bright minds and ethereum advocates are in this little corner away from the main stage… resulting in less proliferation of ETH and the cool things going on within the ecosystem. There’s now a lower ceiling for amplification and chance for more eyes to see what’s going on. On top of that less people defending ETH publicly. FC is great but has disconnected ETH community for wider audience crypto discussions. My opinion the separation caused by FC could be a net negative for Ethereum in early stages of L1 mindshare and public perception.
