Anyone know why they would switch from NYSE to Nasdaq?

Picked up in better indices => boosts share price

I’m reasoning outloud here, It’s not because of trading, due to regulation NMS. However, NYSE specifically assigns dealers to each company for market making, while Nasdaq has a different mechanism. They might be unhappy with how much they’re paying for thay yearly or something along those lines

they wanna be a part of the TWAP botting that the nasdaq is built upon

They're aiming for more volume (which tends to increase price)

Just the mere fact they are switching generates buzz & consequently volume
