The thing that will grow Farcaster in the near / medium / long term is net new behavior and apps. Being the best Twitter clone is a dead end.

Twitter isn’t going away unless Elon screws it up big time. Personally, I’m building a more authentic profile on Warpcast. Who am I, what are my interests, etc. My Twitter persona is a pseudonymous account tweeting about mostly NFTs and nothing else.

I think app-driven signups could be one of the driver. Maybe gate it to specific apps for now, but definitively give devs the freedom to experiment on Hub

There's a huge amount of collateral on Twitter atm eg I currently use it to help raise my profile for Local Businesses, Charities and Social Enterprises because they're on Twitter... It will take a time and some kind of push as well.

I won't leave Twitter unless Farcarster variety of themes (and people) could cover not only crypto/web3 but also everything I'm interested in. At the moment I see it as a curated crypto-related permisioned social network
