- What’s the moat?
- TAM (today)
- founders optimizing for dilution

Underrated:
- Thiel, pmarca (esp. only thing that matters) and PG

I’ve yet to find one of the startup ones that I disagree with. The beauty is how seemingly trite a lot of his advice is—but actually following it is really hard.

I’ve read all of PGs essays and cannot overstate how much they have shaped my worldview

Haven’t read it, but generally skeptical of advice from people who haven’t built 0 to 1 technology businesses

Read Peter Drucker’s “innovation and entrepreneurship”? Lays out a 7 sources framework for identifying opportunities for innovation that’s super useful, but no one ever talks about that book.

To most of my friends who want to start a startup and look for advice, I tell them: start a business instead (most businesses aren't startups and that's perfectly fine).
