Agree on MaxEB and PeerDAS. Those will be big improvements. Strong disagree on raising L1 gas limit substantially and deprioritizing solo/small validators. Ethereum’s credible neutrality can only be maintained by maximizing independent validators. And high throughput execution should be on L2 anyway, so not convinced that’s needed on L1.

I agree with all of these points (not familiar with FOCIL). I don't think we should just kill off the L1 and turn it into a settlement/DA layer.

Beefing up L1 while tackling DA and MEV? That's hitting Ethereum's pain points head-on. The validator slash - might ruffle some feathers, but could be a rocket booster for performance. If they pull this off, it'll shake up the whole L1/L2 game. Ethereum might just leave the competition in the dust.

Cutting block times has its own set of problems. We don't really have enough apps to justify "making L1 more hospitable for apps" L2s for activity and L1 for settlement reduces the need / urgency for some of their points
