fwiw some /clubted mentioned this as well, but doing folders/topics could solve same problem with different solution also discord and imessage both have this

But to your point, agree its not common by any stretch of the imagination. But thought that was the point to throw out new ideas. Love this in Slack, where I'm most accustomed to it. Agree that isn't a consumer app.

iMessage has awesome replies Discord has threads (though I don’t like them there) Telegram lets you check reply threads Though on Tg on can only get to this view from the top level message which sucks, would love to get that view from each reply like iMessage
