Casts that are deleted from a revoked signer can be resigned and rebroadcast. Warpcast will likely have an easy way to resign in app. Others can too. Someone would build archival service business for the people that deeply care about old casts (few people read them).

Would the archival service simply copy the hubs data or would it need something else to be useful? Are there docs on how the current signers work and how dependent signers interact with the root?

This service is something I've been thinking to build for too long. Not just archival, but also signer management (save casts, revoke signer, issue new one, resign).
