Why doesn't Etheruem have $0 gas fees?

What if farcaster users can socialize the cost for new users? Basically like meta sponsorships and each user can show off how many new users they "sponsor"

1. How do you determine who should get the sign up?
2. How do you prevent spammers / fraud?

2. If someone has a good solution for this, we’d be happy to pay for the experiment as Warpcast.

1. I mean it's like patreon or hypersub but for any new users. Or like twitch subscribers that get donated. I don't get to pick I just donate money.
2. This is a harder problem to solve and I don't have good ideas for that haha

We would love to be able to programmatically sponsor new accounts with Warps for nouns.gg, kinda like how @privy and @supercast can sponsor creating new signers. 

If we could show a simple QR code that users could scan and create a Warpcast account for free using our Warps balance would be huge onboarding win for us
