"Why doesn't Farcaster have $0 sign ups"

Why doesn't Etheruem have $0 gas fees?

What if farcaster users can socialize the cost for new users? Basically like meta sponsorships and each user can show off how many new users they "sponsor"

I like pixels and scribbles, building /tavern  ⌐◨-◨  テ Φ

1. I mean it's like patreon or hypersub but for any new users. Or like twitch subscribers that get donated. I don't get to pick I just donate money.
2. This is a harder problem to solve and I don't have good ideas for that haha

1. How do you determine who should get the sign up?
2. How do you prevent spammers / fraud?

Who is the biggest benefactor of a legitimate Farcaster user?

Is it Base? Is it another app? 

Whatever the answer is ... that app/protocol will sponsor the sign up cost in the future.
