What's on your mind re: Farcaster? Feels like there's been a subtle uptick in negativity recently directed at a variety of people / teams. I'd rather that be directed my way. Curious to hear what people are frustrated with in the replies. Will only ask clarifying questions, i.e. no arguing or defending or telling you that you're wrong. And then I'll do a video response in a few days sharing our latest thinking based on any common themes.

Observation (not judgment or accusation) about my FC behavior: My reach, engagement, and quality of interaction here feels down bad from the earlier days of FC. My feed itself has shifted to a hodgepodge of stuff that for whatever reason rarely makes me stop my scroll. A lot of my early friends from FC feel much less active or fully inactive these days. As a result of these 3 things, I don't really even enjoy opening the app anymore. That said, I still check it every day. You know how much of a casting addict I used to be, but now I feel like I mostly cast as a hedge on if/when Farcaster starts growing again. I've tried to figure out whether it's a reduction in meaningful conversation, a shift from a relationship platform to a broadcast platform, or if the topics people want to converse about just aren't up my alley, but honestly I'm not sure. I don't want this to be my attitude, but transparently this is pretty much where I'm at rn.

> feel much less active If you check their profiles, are they casting and you aren’t seeing it? Or is it they are actually less active?

I’ve had 20 or so people tell me they no longer see me in their feed. We follow each other.

In my case, I don't see it and I am not seen. I used to be much more active, but lately I feel like I'm talking to a wall and comments like "I wasn't seeing you!" and "where were you" are part of my daily feed, so this makes me not want to cast so much anymore. Like, I keep trying... but it's frustrating. For both ends, as I have to manually click those I want to interact with.

In my experience, it is more that I don't see it. So, when I search for them, and interact, it gets solved a bit and I see them more often. The following-tab helps a bit as well.

I think it's a combination of both. There are a good amount of people who have just moved on, but there's also a decent chance that the people that I used to interact with more are interacting with my stuff less than they used to as well so we don't cross paths much anymore. I also think reply level engagements are down with that cohort so I might be seeing the same frequency of top level casts, but experiencing much fewer reply interactions which could be contributing to the sense/feeling. Off the dome I feel like I don't see/interact with @jpren.eth, @purp, @les, @briankim, @ace, @nounishprof, @adrienne, @thecurioushermit, @yb, @df nearly as much anymore
